Charity Hospice is currently
operating as an "in-home" agency serving patients in their homes. Services are also available to persons residing in nursing facilities and personal care homes.

Vision Statement:
Our vision is to ensure that no terminally ill patient will face their “journey” alone or in pain, because of their family’s inability to provide care or the patient’s lack of resources to pay.

Mission Statement:

Our mission is to create a unique homelike environment where specialized care is provided to meet the holistic needs of terminally ill patients and their families.

(Serving patients in Jefferson, Southeastern Harrison,
and Southern Columbiana counties)

Our goal at Charity Hospice is to open a 12- room residential hospice facility
to serve patients in the Ohio Valley area.

The facility will be a comfortable home-like setting dedicated to caring for
hospice patients who are unable to remain at home or who do not have                 caregivers   available. With a growing elderly population and a low economy which causes our younger people to relocate, there is a growing void of available caregivers.

Hospice patients living at home will also have access to the facility for short-term care, for acute pain or symptom management, or for caregiver respite.

Just as with Charity's home hospice services, admission to the residential facility will never be limited by a persons inability to pay.
